The standard lithium-ion battery (48 V, 11.2 Ah) delivers 556 watts of power. Equipped with a practical carrying strap, it snaps effortlessly into the holder provided and can be secured by the lock. An IATA-compliant “flight battery” is also available. The flight battery (300 Wh) has a lower power rating so that it can be carried on passenger aircraft in accordance with IATA regulations. Changing the battery is quick and easy. When booking your flight ticket, let the airline know that you are flying with your PAWS and wheelchair and that the PAWS Flight Battery complies with IATA regulations. You can choose between a EU or a UK charger, based on your location. You want to reach further? Equip your PAWS with a second battery to increase your range. You can easily switch to the spare battery using the toggle switch on the DUAL BATTERY HOLDER. This increases your safety, especially on longer distances.
