Rental Program FAQs

1. Credit Card Requirement
A valid credit card is required to be kept on file for all equipment rentals.

2. Delivery Area
Standard delivery is available within the following areas:
Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Toronto, Etobicoke, Brampton, Milton, Woodbridge, North York, Scarborough, and Richmond Hill.
Additional delivery charges may apply for locations outside this area.

3. Rental Renewals
All rentals are set to automatically renew after the original rental period unless a pickup is requested or the equipment is returned. Pickup charges may apply.

4. Rent-to-Own Policy
Only the first month’s rental fee can be applied as a credit toward the full purchase price of the rented item.


Equipment Rental Agreement

This Equipment Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Liberty Care Mobility Inc. and the “Renter” as named on the associated invoice and/or rental schedule.

1. Equipment Description

The equipment covered under this agreement is detailed is detailed below.

2. Payment Terms

A valid credit card must be provided and kept on file. Monthly rental fees will be automatically charged on the “Recurring Payment Day of the Month” as specified in the rental summary.

3. Insufficient Funds & Service Fees

A service fee of $35 will be applied to any failed transaction due to insufficient funds.

4. Rental Term & Return

The rental term begins on the delivery or pickup start date.
Minimum rental terms (1–2 months) apply depending on the equipment. The rental will continue until the renter provides 2–3 business days’ notice to end the term and arrange for return or pickup.

To avoid additional charges, equipment must be received by Liberty Care Mobility Inc. within 1–2 days after the scheduled recurring payment date. A 2-day grace period is allowed.

5. Return of Equipment

Returns may be arranged via pickup or drop-off. We recommend insuring returned equipment for its full value in case of damage or loss during transit.

6. Care, Operation & Use

Rented equipment must be used with care and only in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Unauthorized alterations are prohibited.

7. Maintenance & Repairs

  • Renters must maintain equipment in good condition (normal wear and tear expected).

  • All repairs must be handled exclusively by Liberty Care Mobility Inc.

  • Renters are not permitted to repair or modify the equipment.

  • Damage beyond normal wear will be charged to the credit card on file.

8. Equipment Acceptance

Renter must inspect equipment upon receipt and report any issues within 2 days. Failure to do so will be deemed acceptance of the equipment in good condition.

9. Warranty

Liberty Care Mobility Inc. warrants the equipment to be in good working order at the time of rental. No additional express or implied warranties apply.

10. Risk of Loss or Damage

Renter assumes full responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to the equipment. In such cases, the renter agrees to repair or replace the item at their expense.

11. Liability & Indemnity

Renter is liable for any injury, disability, or death resulting from equipment use. Renter agrees to indemnify and hold Liberty Care Mobility Inc. harmless from all related claims.

12. Default Conditions

Default occurs under the following circumstances:

  • Non-payment of rental fees

  • Violation of agreement terms not remedied within 15 days

  • Bankruptcy or insolvency

  • Legal seizure or lien on Renter’s assets

13. Remedies Upon Default

If default occurs, Liberty Care Mobility Inc. may repossess the equipment without notice, deduct recovery and repair costs, and pursue further legal remedies as permitted by law.

14. Notices

All notices shall be deemed delivered when sent by mail or delivered in person to the address listed in this Agreement.

15. Entire Agreement & Modifications

This document constitutes the entire agreement between both parties. Any changes must be in writing and signed by both parties to be valid.
