Refund and Returns Policy

At Liberty Care Mobility, many of the products we sell are medical, mobility, or hygiene-related, which limits our ability to accept returns. Please review the policy below carefully before placing your order.

🔄 Return Eligibility

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided all return conditions are met.

Important:
All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


✅ Conditions for an Approved Return

To qualify for a return, the item must:

  • Be in original, unopened packaging

  • Show no signs of use, including but not limited to:

    • Scratches or marks

    • Wear on tires or moving parts

    • Tears or stains

  • Include all parts, accessories, manuals, and packaging materials

  • Be in resalable condition

Returns that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted.


🚫 Items Not Eligible for Return

Due to hygiene, safety, customization, and manufacturer restrictions, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Products not in original packaging

  • Bathroom safety equipment (for hygiene reasons)

  • Mattresses, pillows, and bedding

  • Special order items (products ordered specifically at the customer’s request)

  • Lift chairs

  • Manual and custom wheelchairs

  • Power wheelchairs

  • Mobility scooters

  • Home hospital beds

  • Cushions

  • Braces

  • Cold therapy systems

  • Replacement parts


🔁 Restocking Fees & Exceptions

In exceptional cases, and only with prior written approval from management, returns may be accepted for items that are otherwise non-returnable.

If approved:

  • A 35% restocking fee will apply

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Return shipping remains the customer’s responsibility

Approval is determined on a case-by-case basis.

📦 Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us immediately upon receipt.

To help us resolve the issue as quickly as possible, we require:

  • Notification within 48 hours of delivery

  • Clear photos of the item, including any visible damage

  • Photos of the outer packaging and shipping label

  • Your order number

How We Handle These Cases

Once we receive and review the required information:

  • We will assess the issue with the carrier or manufacturer

  • If approved, we will arrange for:

    • A replacement item or

    • A refund or store credit, at our discretion

Do not return any item until you receive written authorization from our team.


Important Notes

  • Damage reported after 48 hours may not be eligible for replacement or refund

  • Items returned without authorization may be refused

  • Normal wear, misuse, or installation-related issues are not considered shipping damage
