The SHABBATTO model of the ATTO SPORT MAX, delivers the ATTO SPORT’s high-performance and cutting-edge style to users with a larger build of up to 136Kg/ 300 lbs, and uniquely facilitates halachically-approved use on Shabbat. The result of a collaboration between Movinglife engineers and the Zomet Institute SHABBATTO MAX grants heavier users the ability to activate an external mechanism, that deploys 2 principles to make it kosher for use on Shabbat: the Grama Principle and the existing current modulation technique. The SHABBATTO MAX is a sports-car-like mobility scooter, that features all the high-performance and cutting-edge design elements of the ATTO SPORT MAX but takes it further with the included Shabbat remote.

Who can use SHABBATTO?

SHABBATO is approved to use during Shabbat by the Zomet Institute. Rabbi Menachem Perl, Head of The Zomet Institute says: “Amongst all the mobility scooters we are currently familiar with for Shabbat observers this product is Halachically the best we trust this product. Any person with limited mobility that prevents him from walking more than a few steps and strives to attend Synagogue or a social gathering on Shabbat can use this product with peace of mind!”

How it works?

The ATTO SPORT user can easily – and without the use of tools – install the Shabbat remote control on the scooter’s handlebar and activate the remote control before Shabbat. This action turns the SHABBATTO engine on, but lets it operate in “crawl” mode throughout the Shabbat, consuming minimum power. This halachic principle is known as “continuous current modification”. According to this principle, instead of turning the engine on in order to drive, the user is only adjusting the level of an existing current to move and modify speed. The fact that the engine is turned on prior to Shabbat, and operates continuously in the background, is a breakthrough that makes the SHABBATTO more halachically enhanced and sets it apart from the other Shabbat-approved scooters in the market. Once Shabbat enters, the user can use the Shabbat remote control installed on the handlebar to operate the scooter, without fearing desecration of Shabbat. To use SHABBATTO on Shabbat, all you have to do is attach the remote control to the scooter and operate before Shabbat. The remote control is easily attached to the tiller using a flexible strap. Then simply connect the USB cable to the suitable socket just below the handlebar. To turn on, simply flip the Gramma switch.

Warranty:

Two-year limited warranty: Structural frame components, including mobility scooter chassis, steering mechanism, rear wheels extensions, welds on entire products.

One-year limited warranty: All electronic parts, including controllers and battery chargers. Servicing to the controller or battery charger must be carried out by an authorized Moving Life dealer. Any attempt to open or dismantle these items renders the guarantee void on that item Drivetrain, including motor and seat mechanism. Batteries are covered by a one-year warranty from the original manufacturer. Gradual deterioration in battery performance due to not following usage instructions specified in the user's manual or worn out through heavy use is not covered.
