AtmosAir Velaris Adaptable Alternating Pressure System features:

Instant step-up therapy
AtmosAir Velaris performs as a dedicated alternating pressure surface in active therapy mode, but also provides non-powered pressure redistribution when the patient pressure risk level does not require alternating therapy.

AltoVac® Vacuum Technology
With the pump connected, the AltoVac Vacuum Technology sucks air out and inflates air in cycles to provide alternating pressure (AP) therapy with offloading capabilities.

Infection Control Design
Premium cover designed to last 2.5 times longer than ‘standard’ type covers when being used in the same environment. Welded seams and a watershed flap over the full length of the zipper to help prevent fluid ingress.

Comfort and Full Offloading
A top layer of visco-elastic foam and a base layer of firm foam is built into each air cell, offering comfort while eliminating the need for an additional foam layer between the patient and the air cells which can compromise active therapy. Offers firm foam perimeter to support ingress and egress.

Microclimate Management
Powered directly from the AtmosAir Velaris pump, the system can also offer the full microclimate and comfort benefits of Skin IQ®, without impacting the alternating pressure performance. Compatible with both Skin IQ standard and bariatric coverlet.

ARM® (Air Redistribution Module)
In non-powered mode, AtmosAir Velaris is an open pressurized system. The Velaris ARM — Air Redistribution Module maintains a predefined pressure level inside the cells.

Heel zone with active therapy
With a sloped heel zone combining AltoVac vacuum technology alternating air cells with a heel slope, the AtmosAir Velaris hybrid system offers offloading capabilities in the vulnerable heel area.

QuietConcept™ Pump & Automatic dimming LEDs
Pump has silent operation at 19 dB(A) and pump lights automatically dim when built-in sensors detect dark ambience.
