If you need to pour a very hot liquid directly in the cup. First, warm up the cup with hot water from the faucet for a minute and always pour slowly the very hot liquid on the back of a spoon inserted in the cup to distribute the heat equally.

Mugs cracked by excessive heat are not covered by the warranty.
